This website is currently devoted to my most recent book, The Concierge Class.

I live in Frome, Somerset, UK, and have a day job running my distance learning business.

I also create art, currently using 3D printing, and have founded a small theatre company, ByWord Theatre.

And there’s a page on this site about my social activism.

A few random facts

• I’ve hitch-hiked across America.
• I’ve fallen off a night-time freight train into a canyon.
• I have a degree in Latin.
• I love my five children.
• I ride a motorcycle and have an old soft-top Mercedes
• I’ve been incarcerated in two small jails.

Speaking

As an issue, the concierge class spans many interconnected issues, including capitalism, the ultra-rich, corporations, tax avoidance and, above all, the role of the middle classes.
